Starting today, Fortnite players will be able to sprint like a true secret facility infiltrator.
If you’ve been out of the loop, there’s been a viral surge of ‘Storm Area 51’ memes circulating around the internet – with many joking that they would raid the US government’s secluded ‘Area 51’ facility in the hopes of exposing hidden alien life or tech. One of the main jokes surrounding the viral campaign was that every participant should run towards the facility like ninjas from the Naruto anime/manga series, with arms splayed outwards and backwards.
Of course – as with all popular and exploitable memes, the Fortnite developers at Epic Games just had to reference this in the game’s item shop. Players on all platforms can now purchase the ‘Full Tilt’ emote – which lets their avatar do the same ridiculous pose.
As usual, it’s just another example of life and art looping around each other in strange ways. If you’ve got the V-bucks to spare and time to kill, you can check out this emote and more in the Nintendo Switch port of Fortnite right now.
