Last year, a special black Fragment Pikachu plush was manufactured for the Thunderbolt Project in Japan. Unfortunately it was for display purposes so there was no way to get it.
This year, it seems we are receiving a consolation prize as the black Fragment Pikachu is being made into a mascot, a mini plush. The plush will be first available at the Dover Street Market at Ginza in Tokyo, Japan on April 6, 2019, followed by a release at Dover Street Market locations in London, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Beijing from late April 2019.
