Good news for those living in Hong Kong and South Korea – Nintendo Hong Kong and Nintendo of Korea have announced a proper and fully functioning Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch owners in Hong Kong and South Korea.
The fully functioning Nintendo eShop will allow players to download and purchase software directly on their Nintendo Switch. At this time, Hong Kong and South Korean players have to purchase download codes from the official Nintendo website and redeem them on their console, which is a hassle.
The fully functioning Nintendo eShop will launch in Hong Kong and South Korea in Winter 2019.
