Gamestop Reportedly Running A Shiny Eternatus Distribution Soon

Following the previous Shiny Legendary distribution for Pokemon Sword And Shield‘s Zacian and Zamazenta, reports of a new distribution for the games’ third major Legendary Pokemon have surfaced online.

According to Pokebeach, Gamestop will be running a distribution for a Shiny Eternatus later this month from September 18th to October 1st 2022. This will notably be the first time a Shiny Eternatus will be available for players to obtain, as it is shiny-locked in the base game. Pokebeach states that the distribution is meant to “encourage pre-orders for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet”, but the exact specifics of this distribution are not known at the time of this writing.

Presumably, more details about this distribution will be officially shared closer to the reported start date. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
