Giant Surfing Pikachu Statue To Be Set Up At Lalaport Tokyo Bay

The Pokemon Company and Lalaport Tokyo Bay have announced a special gigantic Surfing Pikachu statue in Japan.

This giant Surfing Pikachu statue will be placed at the entrance of Lalaport Tokyo Bay on January 25, 2020. Lalaport Tokyo Bay also happens to be the home of Pokemon Center Tokyo Bay. To celebrate the launch of this new statue, a campaign called “Huge Surfing Pikachu Appears Chu” will kick off in January.

 

The campaign consists of the following activities:

  1. Giant Surfing Pikachu is set up (January 25, 2020)
  2. 10 Pikachu mascots march through the mall (January 25 and January 26)
  3. Stamp Rally campaign (January 25 to February 9, 2020)
