The artist behind various ‘remastered’ versions of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate characters is back with more beautiful artwork.
Over the past few months, God of War art director Rafael Grassetti has been painting surreal renditions of various videogame all-stars. From giving Bowser Jr. a new sheen to re-imagining Mega Man, the artist has been busy offering a new perspective of everyone’s favorite videogame heroes and villains.
This week, Grassetti finally graced us with his own re-imaginings of some true internet icons: Mario, Luigi, and Pac-Man! Check them out below.
In another tweet, Grassetti also noted that he has illustrated 23 of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate cast to date. This includes Ganondorf and Dark Samus, which we skipped over previously. You can take a look at the entire gang below.
From his choice of words, it looks like Grassetti will be tackling all the other characters eventually! We’ll report back when we see more beautiful works from him.
