Feral Interactive has released a free update for GRID Autosport on Nintendo Switch today, adding local wireless multiplayer and split-screen play for up to 2 players.
The publisher also announced what’s coming in the next update in 2020 – Nintendo Labo support, Joy-Con wheel support, and online multiplayer.

The first feature update has launched for GRID Autosport on Nintendo Switch, introducing:
- Local wireless multiplayer for up to eight players.
- Two player split-screen.
If Auto-Update Software is turned on and a user’s console is connected to the internet, the update will download automatically.
A further update with Labo and wheel support and online multiplayer is scheduled for next year.
GRID Autosport is available to purchase now from the Nintendo eShop for $34.99 / £29.99 / €34.99 / ¥4400. It is a single purchase that includes all additional content.
