Guide: How To Find Yoshi In Super Mario Odyssey

Everyone’s cute and favorite green dinosaur, Yoshi, is back in Super Mario Odyssey!

But how can you find Yoshi in Super Mario Odyssey? In this guide, we’ll teach you how to find Yoshi in Super Mario Odyssey and what you can do with it.

Please note this guide may contain a few spoilers so please do not proceed if you do not want to be spoiled.

First – you will need to clear the main story, which means defeating the Final Boss. Once that’s done, you will be given full access to the Mushroom Kingdom. Head over to the Mushroom Kingdom.

After you’ve arrived inside the Mushroom Kingdom, head over to the left side of Peach’s Castle. You’ll find a scarecrow close to the castle. Capture the scarecrow.

After the scarecrow is captured, a flight of stairs will appear leading to the top of the castle. Climb up the stairs, roam around the roof, and you’ll find Yoshi!

Now unlike Super Mario Galaxy 2 and other Mario games, you can’t ride Yoshi in Super Mario Odyssey. However you can capture Yoshi. Yoshi is able to flutter jump (hold B) and extend his tongue (hold Y). Alternatively you can shake the Joy-Con to extend its tongue.
