Guide: Where To Get All Mega Stones In Pokemon Legends Z-A

Pokemon Legends Z-A reintroduces players to the Mega Evolution mechanic, which allows select Pokemon to temporarily take on more powerful forms in battle.

In order to Mega Evolve a Pokemon, the player must have it hold its associated Mega Stone. Mega Stones in Pokemon Legends Z-A can be acquired through progressing the main story, as well as in special stone shops. You can find a guide to where each stone is located below:

Main Story Mega Stones ~ 20 Stones Total

20 Mega Stones are obtained by completing Main Story missions, mostly in battle with Rogue Mega Evolved Pokemon. Players will also receive the Mega Stone of their chosen starter Pokemon from AZ after completing Mission 10.

30 Mega Stones can be purchased from the Quasartico Inc Mega Shard Exchange shop. This shop is unlocked after completing Mission 10 of the Main Story, with more Mega Stones becoming available after completing certain Main Mission milestones. Mega Shards can be gathered by breaking Mega Shard clusters across Lumiose City, so be sure to break them with Pokemon moves whenever you see them to have enough to buy every Mega Stone.
