In this modern era, you can’t call your electronics a piece of technology unless it can run 1993’s Doom on it. Last December, homebrewers manage to get 1993’s Doom on the Nintendo Switch, but why stop there, especially since 2016’s remaster of the game is also on the Switch.
In quite some feat of achievement, hackers have recently managed to put Doom 3 on the Nintendo Switch. Using the source code for Doom 3, which happens to be able to run on a Nvidia Shield, hackers manage to make the game work on the Switch.
This goes to show that with a bit of tinkering, you can put any Doom game on the Switch. So why stop there, let the hackers show which other Doom games can they put on the Nintendo Switch.
