Majong fans out there, Handy Mahjong for the Nintendo Switch has received an update bringing some features along with it. The biggest would be English and Chinese language support. Finally, you can play some mahjong in a language that you’re comfortable with.
Also thrown in in the update is Vertical TV mode support. This will technically allow you to play 2-player Mahjong with your friend locally on the TV. However, you will still need a big partition to prevent cheating.
On the point of preventing cheating from happening, the sound effects option have been tweaked for 2-player mode to prevent cheating as well.
If you have already bought Handy Mahjong, you can go ahead and update it. If you were previously on the fence due to language issue, now there’s no issue, so just head on to the Nintendo eShop here to get it.
