On October 1, 1999, Monolith Soft, a development studio, was founded in Japan.
The studio has grown to epic proportions since its founding 20 years ago. It now has a headcount of over 200 employees and is responsible for helping to develop titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and create iconic franchises like the Xenoblade and Xenogear series.
