On this day one year ago, Super Mario Odyssey was released for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
Super Mario Odyssey is the sixth 3D entry of the Super Mario series. It introduced many new mechanics and characters. Mario’s partner, Cappy, allows the plumber to possess enemies to achieve different objectives in the game. The art style of Super Mario Odyssey has also drastically changed as compared to previous 3D Mario games, with Mario traveling through a dessert, city, and even the moon.
Super Mario Odyssey is also the bestselling Nintendo Switch game in the world, having moved over 11 million copies to date.
What do you think? Perhaps it’s time to play Super Mario Odyssey to commemorate this special day!
