On November 17, 2018, Takashi Tezuka celebrated his 58th birthday in Japan.
Takashi Tezuka is a name that Super Mario fans are familiar with. Tezuka is a video game producer heavily involved in the Super Mario series since the day he worked with legendary video game developer Shigeru Miyamoto on Super Mario Bros. for NES.
Tezuka had a hand in directing and producing games in the Super Mario, Yoshi, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, and Wii games. To recognize his contributions, he was promoted to a member of Nintendo’s board of directors this year.
We are not very sure whether it’s a coincidence, but Tezuka’s birthday falls a day after Miyamoto’s, and both are considered to be good friends.
