Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy Resonance for Switch 2.

The title is described as “the first HD-2D Final Fantasy” game and appears to be a console reimagining of the now defunct Final Fantasy mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. It will release on October 22nd 2026 for Switch and Switch 2.
