Worried about how well Ori And The Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will run on Nintendo Switch?
Thanks to ContraNetwork, you can now check out a frame-rate of the game when running in docked or handheld mode. As promised by its developers, it looks like the metroidvania adventure will indeed offer a smooth 60 fps experience regardless of how you play it!
Of course, this is only a small slice of the game – so it’s hard to tell if busier areas will cause heavy frame drops. But from what we’ve seen so far, the game looks to be a technical marvel despite the Switch’s limited hardware.
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition launches digitally for Nintendo Switch on 27 September 2019. A free demo of the game is also now available from the Switch eShop in all regions.
