Fans of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe no longer have to put up with a huge source of accidental game-overs.
Reddit user MetallicFear has discovered a hidden way to disable annoying spin jumps – which usually cause players to slip off platforms when they accidentally press ‘A’ and ‘B’ together.
All players need to do is hold down the left analog stick on the game’s start screen, then press L + R to open the game. If you perform this secret correctly, Nabbit will cry out – and you’ll no longer perform spin jumps when pressing ‘A’ and ‘B’ together!
However, players still be able to perform a spin jump by pushing the ‘ZR’ trigger or shaking their joy-con.
