This weekend an official Pokemon GO event took place in the sand dunes area of Tottori, Japan.
Tottori prefecture officials have previously reported that around 20,000 people came to the sand dunes for the Pokemon GO Safari Zone event alone. Rare Pokemon such as Unown, Mr. Mime, Blissey, and Lapras could be caught at the Safari Zone.
Here’s a look at the amazing turnout at the usually not so crowded sand dunes.
A Pikachu mascot was also present to welcome visitors to the sand dunes.
A beautiful rainbow was even spotted at the sand dunes, the best way to end the day.
