Here’s Two Interesting Theories On The Mystery 891st Pokemon Nicknamed Nutto
The Pokemon GO community has come up with two interesting theories for the mysterious 891st Pokemon, nicknamed Nutto, that started spawning around the world in Pokemon GO today.
The first theory, by 12throwaway3451, claims that Ditto is attempting to transform into the “new mystery Pokemon”, is relying on memory so it hasn’t successfully transformed into its final form. This is backed up by Ditto’s Pokedex entry, which says the following:
“If the thing it’s transforming into isn’t right in front of it, Ditto relies on its memory—so sometimes it fails.”
So perhaps in the next few weeks, we could see Ditto slowly transforming into the mystery Pokemon’s final form before the launch of Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
The second theory, by KillerOperators, claims that the mystery Pokemon might be a reverse Ditto. What that means is the mystery Pokemon will always appear in its Nutto form in the wild, but when captured, it’ll turned into another Pokemon, such as Ditto or Chikorita. Perhaps in the future, Nutto may transform into other types of Pokemon after getting caught.
