Hobonichi Unveils Another Earthbound/Mother Inspired G-Shock Watch
Earthbound/Mother creator Shigesato Itoi’s company Hobonichi has announced another G-Shock Watch themed after the fan favorite classic RPG series.
The new watch is the “Mother Red GW-6900”, produced once again in collaboration with Casio. It will feature a number of Earthbound themed design elements, such as a hidden “SMAAAASH!!” effect that appears when the light is switched on, and the telephone used to call Ness’ father printed on the back.

The watch will release on March 14th 2024 for Japan. As with the previous G-Shock Watch, sales will be done via a lottery system, with more details available on Hobonichi’s official website here.
