Accessory maker HORI has announced a Drum Controller for Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version in Japan.
In Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version, players can play either with the Joy-Con or this Drum Controller. The Drum Controller comes with a pair of drumsticks for players to beat the drum. D-Pad, ABXY, and other buttons have been embedded into the bottom of the drum too.
The Drum Controller can only be used in TV Mode, as it requires to be connected to the Nintendo Switch Dock via a USB cable. Up to 2 Drum Controllers are supported per Nintendo Switch Console. There’s even a small space underneath the drum to store the drumsticks.
Or you can make the drums even heavier by slotting in two plastic bottles filled with water.
HORI’s Drum Controller for Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version launches July 19, 2018, the same day as the game itself. Pre-orders are now live on Amazon Japan right here.
