How to Get Marshadow, Volcanion and Genesect in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Thanks to an event in Japan, you can obtain codes for three mythical Pokemon that you might be missing.

The Pokemon Company just launched the “Phantom Pokemon Get Challenge” which will let you collect points and redeem them for Genesect, Volcanion and Marshadow. How do you collect these points? By purchasing certain Pokemon related products from convenience stores in Japan.

However, there is a way to still obtain these codes before the event ends in April of next year using a little bit of translation on Pokemon’s website.

The “Phantom Pokemon Get Challenge” campaign started on November 20, 2020! If you register the campaign code enclosed in Pokemon related products (* some products are eligible) on the site, you will receive a serial code that you can get these Mythical Pokemon in your current copy of Pokemon Sword and Shield. This event ends in April of 2021.
