Dissatisfied that Ike and Roy did not make the roster for Fire Emblem Warriors? Don’t count on Fire Emblem Smash heavyweights to appear in the next Fire Emblem Warriors DLC either.
According to Source Gaming, which got its info from a Nintendo Dream Article, the Radiant Hero and Hero of the Binding Blade are unlikely to make an appearance unless a sequel to the game is made.
This comes as a surprise as both Ike and Roy were notable characters from the Fire Emblem franchise, consistently appearing in Smash since Melee, although both characters arguably came before the franchise’s resurgence in Awakening.
Though we have not got our hands on the game yet, unlike our Japanese friends, we hope that one day at least these two heroes will join hands in combat again outside Smash.
