Isabelle & Villager Can Cause A Game-breaking Bug In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 1.2.0

It seems like Nintendo may have overlooked a few cracks in its latest update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

After Version 1.2.0, the game now has a major bug that will crash the game. If Isabelle and Villager both use the catch move (neutral special) to pass either character’s slingshot projectile (forward air tilt) back and forth, the game will eventually encounter an error.

The bug doesn’t happen any other way, hilariously enough. If two Villagers or two Isabelles play catch with each other, the game will run fine. Using items other than the slingshot projectile will also not crash the game.

Nintendo is probably working on a fix as we speak. We’ll return with updates when we hear more.
