Japan: Captain Toad Treasure Tracker Switch Outsells Wii U Version At Launch

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, a port of the original 2014 Wii U puzzle game, has done fantastically well on Nintendo Switch.

Media Create numbers show the Switch version was the second bestselling game at 41,852 copies sold during launch week. This surpasses how the original Wii U game performed – 7th place with 28,025 units at launch.

Unfortunately, the 3DS version did not manage to surpass the Wii U version as it only sold 14,558 copies, debuting at 6th place.
