Media Create has published Day One sales figures for several games this week.
Overall, the outlook has not been great for various titles on the 3DS and Switch in Japan. First, the heavily-promoted Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth did not capture many players beyond its niche audience. The same goes for Kamen Rider Climax Scramble Zi-O, which may not see much success until Christmas.
Action RPG Lapis x Labyrinth also sold more on PS4 compared to Switch, and overall the game did not see much sales momentum.
Finally, Party game Billion Road may have completely bombed – as Media Create did not even report on its sales figures at all.
Check out the figures below for yourself, courtesy of GoNintendo:
- Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth (3DS)
- 40%
- Low debut – mostly selling to those who pre-ordered
- Kamen Rider: Climax Scramble Zi-O (Switch)

- Lapis x Labyrinth (Switch / PS4)
- 30%

- PS4 outsold Switch
- Billion Road (Switch)
