Media Create has published Day-One sales figures for two new Switch titles which launched in Japan this week.
This time, we get a look at the sales of the new Yo-kai Watch 4 and Summer Pockets – with things looking a little mixed. While Summer Pockets scraped by with decent performance, Yo-kai Watch 4 actually failed to move consumers according to expectations.
Check out a summary below.
- Yo-kai Watch 4
- 30% sell-through.
- Relatively low sales – which do not bode well for the game.
- Direct comparison with past entries isn’t possible, as this is the first main game since Yo-kai Watch 1 to not release on a Saturday.
- It needs to perform better over this weekend.
- Summer Pockets
- 40% sell-through
- Relatively good sales.
- But shipments should be low, and sales of such niche titles will mostly be front-loaded.
