Dengeki Online has revealed the sell-through rate for Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition’s launch in Japan.
The video game outlet reported that Dragon Quest XI S is doing well in Japan with 65% of its initial shipment or 311,384 units copies sold in its first week. This places it at the top of the gaming charts in Japan for the week, from September 23-29.
While the game has earned a top spot, sales has been comparatively low with respect to the previous releases of the game from the PS4 and the 3DS back in 2017, with sales reaching more than one million units during the first week.
