Japan: Free-to-play Pictlogica Final Fantasy is heading to Nintendo 3DS

In a surprise announcement by Square-Enix, the free-to-play RPG puzzle game Pictlogica Final Fantasy is coming to Nintendo 3DS in Japan.

Pictlogica Final Fantasy was originally released on smartphones back in October 2013. Gameplay on Nintendo 3DS will remain mostly the same as the smartphone version. However there are some minor differences, such as changes to the game’s most popular puzzles.

The game features over 300 puzzles to solve and features 160 characters from the Final Fantasy franchise.

Pictlogica Final Fantasy will be available on the Nintendo eShop starting July 12, 2017.
