Japan: Nintendo Is The 6th Most Desirable Company Undergraduates Want To Work At

Japanese news outlet IT Media has published a report on the top companies Year 1 and Year 2 undergraduates would like to work at the most.

This year, Nintendo is the 6th highest ranking company undergraduates wish to work at the most. It’s one of the toughest companies to be employed at. Nintendo jumped three ranks from the previous year, possibly due to the success of Nintendo Switch.

And what about the rest of the list? Amazon Japan is at No. 5, Google at No. 4, “Government Official” at No. 3, Apple Japan at No. 2, and finally, “Local Government Employee” at No. 1. If you’re curious, Sony is at No. 9.

By excluding the public sector and foreign subsidiaries on the list, Nintendo is actually the most appealing Japanese company to undergraduates.
