Road safety is a huge deal in Japan these days, more so after the release of Pokemon GO.
Today local Kamata district police, Pikachu, and Pipo-kun appeared at a local event to promote a new road safety campaign. Road safety merchandise featuring Pokemon telling drivers not to use their smartphones while driving were also distributed to guests at the event.
