New characters and more yo-kai’s will be added to Yo-kai Watch 4 when version 1.3.0 rolls out in August!

The version 1.3.0 update will see a brand new map call the Yougoku Sumo Hall where players can take on Raidenryu, the strongest enemy in the game. New yo-kai’s that can be befriended include Enma and Nurarihyon, along with Hamuhamu, AburaHam, Kiborikkuma, and Oniguma.

Yo-kai Watch 4: We’re Looking Up at the Same Sky is out now in Japan. It has also been confirmed coming in the west during the recently held Anime Expo 2019.

A chubby hamster yokai who really likes fatty food. Note: Hamuhamu is like an onomatopoeia of opening and closing mouth to eat food, while AburaHam is a combination of Abura (oil/tallow) and Ham(ster) as well as a pun on Abraham.

Kiborikkuma (Light Side, lit. Woodcrafted Bear) and Oniguma (Shadow Side, lit. Demon Bear)

A yokai born by inhibiting spirit into a woodcrafted bear.
