Japanese Gamers Have Figured Out How To Peek Under Peach’s Skirt Without Censorship In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Ever since Super Smash Bros. For 3DS/WiiU, Nintendo has been adamant about censoring out the undersides of female fighters’ skirts. This is no different in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where Peach likewise has a black void underneath her dress.

Sad news: You cannot see up Princess Peach’s skirt.

Of course, some Japanese fans have since been attempting to get past these dark spots – all in an effort to see every part of their favorite Mushroom Kingdom princess. From turning up the brightness in photo-editing software to zooming way in, they tried everything possible.

And eventually, they succeeded.

“Indeed. If you use the light from Ness’s forward throw you can penetrate the Princess’ dark matter.”

Apparently, Ness’s throws will emit enough ambient light to uncover the dark spots under Peach’s skirt! According to SoraNews24, some Japanese fans were ecstatic once they heard about this new method to reveal Peach’s unmentionables:

“It looks like she’s wearing two because you can see the line!”
“It was just a matter of time.”
“Maybe I should get a Switch.”
“I can see the light!”
“Great work team.”
“I wonder if these guys know there’s a whole bunch of games on the PS4 where you can see women’s underwear.”
“Pantsu Switch!”

One wonders if Nintendo will patch out this tactic once they hear about it. For the sake of Peach fans in Japan, maybe Smash producer Sakurai and his development team will just quietly sweep this matter under the rug.
