Japanese Investment Company Expects Switch To Sell 115 Million Units By 2023

Nomura Securities, a major investment banking company in Japan, has put up some serious predictions for Nintendo Switch.

Firstly Nomura Securities is expecting the Nintendo Switch to sell 23 million systems in the next fiscal year beginning March 2018. In comparison, Nintendo is expecting to sell 16 million this fiscal year which ends next February, so 23 million may not be that far fetched.

The investment company is making a very bold prediction too. It thinks Nintendo will sell 115.8 million Switch units by 2023, which is more than what the Wii has ever sold during its life cycle.

That would mean Nintendo has to sell 19 million Nintendo Switch every year until 2023. It’s too hard to tell whether they would be able to achieve this, but we shall see in the years to come.
