In Tokyo, one of the most recognizable buses is the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu bus, which has an orange and yellow paint job.
The bus, which is still running till this day, has been made into different types of products over the years. Now a bus that looks like the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu bus has also appeared in the latest episode of the Pokemon anime, where Ash and Gou are in Vermillion City (translated by NintendoSoup):
Gou: “I’m going back by bus. What about you Ash?”
Ash: “By train.”
Gou: “Ah, by train!”
Ash: “Hey! Wait up!”
Pikachu: “Pikapika!”
Gou: “The 7th floor of that apartment building.”
Gou: “Let’s go!”
