During today’s strategy meeting, Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima reiterated Nintendo’s support to the Nintendo 3DS business, which is still going strong in its seventh year.
Besides continuing to tap onto the large Nintendo 3DS install base and the system’s huge game library, Kimishima says Nintendo will continue to make new software titles for the 3DS.
Looking at upcoming first party releases, the 3DS seems to a little bare, with only Detective Pikachu and Sushi Striker coming in the near future. Perhaps these new software titles will be announced on a later date.
