Kirby Tops Nintendo Dream’s August 2019 Character Poll, With Runners-Up Mario And Link

Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream has published the results of their top video characters poll in their August 2019 issue.

As usual, Kirby has taken the top spot in the poll, this time defeating Link and Mario by more than 200 votes! Interestingly, Waddle Dee jumped up 11 spots (he was 17th last month) for seemingly no good reason, while Eevee got kicked out of the top 10 spots instead.

Check out the poll rankings below:

  1. Kirby (Kirby) – 329pt
  2. Mario (Super Mario) – 120pt
  3. Link (The Legend of Zelda) – 106pt
  4. Pikachu (Pokémon)
  5. Isabelle (Animal Crossing)
  6. Waddle Dee (Kirby)
  7. Meta Knight (Kirby)
  8. Yoshi (Super Mario)
  9. Luigi (Super Mario)
  10. Sans (UNDERTALE)

Of course, these numbers are only indicative of Japan’s own tastes. Who do you think should have made the top spot this month? Let us hear your comments below!
