Today we have some interesting details about the character design for Pokemon Sword and Shield.

It’s been revealed on the Pokemon Secret Club website that Haruko Ichikawa, who is responsible for the Land of the Lustrous series, was involved in the development of the game.

Ichikawa helped with the character design for Chairman Rose and Olivia. This isn’t the first time an external partner has worked on Pokemon Sword and Shield – Undertale creator Tobyfox was involved too.
