DidYouKnowGaming dives into the history behind Wonderful 101 from Platinum games.
Platinum recently announced a a kickstarter campaign to fund a new project, The Wonderful 101: Remastered for the Nintendo Switch. This campaign was a huge success with the goal being met within an hour and is now at triple its goal.
This game a fan favorite on the Wii U but had its origins come even before that console was announced. DidYouKnowGaming goes into some of ideas for the game and how they transformed into the product we see today.
Captain Falcon and Mario were seen as potential characters but were ultimately scrapped for a superhero approach that the game is known for in its character designs. It was even named Wonderful 100 until a suggestion that game director Hideki Kamiya accepted.
