Let’s Make A Paper Partition For Handy Mahjong Switch
Imaginative Technology Land, the developers of Handy Mahjong, caught the world’s attention with their cardboard partition for Nintendo Switch.
The company has released blueprints for two different types of partitions – one that can be printed with regular A4 size paper, and another with thick A4 paper.
Let’s go with the instructions to make a partition with regular A4 paper. You’ll need to download and print the two blueprints for Player 1 and Player 2.
Now it’s time to get into the meat. The instructions are the same for both sheets of paper. First, cut the paper out along the black lines. Next, along the – — – (short dash followed by longer dash) lines, fold inward. Along the – – – – – (consecutive dash) lines, fold outward.
Once that’s done, stick both Player 1 and Player 2 pieces together by gluing the parts labeled “のしりろ”. Make sure the colors match the ends of both Player 1 and Player 2.
If you’re going the thick paper route, things are much easier. Download and print the blueprint here, cut out the paper, and along the – — – (short dash followed by longer dash) lines, fold inward. Along the – – – – – (consecutive dash) lines, fold outward.
The end result is a barrier that will make sure no one is able to cheat at Handy Mahjong!
Handy Mahjong launches March 8, 2018 on the Japanese Switch eShop.
