Let’s Take A Look At This Canceled LEGO Bionicle Title For GameCube

This week’s episode of Did You Know Gaming? touches on a LEGO game that never saw the day of light.

The game is called LEGO Bionicle: The Legend of Mata Nui, which was being developed by Saffire Corporation. It was intended to be ported over to GameCube after PC development wrapped up. Unfortunately the game was canceled after new management took over LEGO company.

Learn more about this game in the video below.

LEGO Bionicle: The Legend of Mata Nui was being developed by Saffire Corporation, and was made as a PC game with later plans of porting the game to the Nintendo GameCube. The title would have directly taken place after the events of LEGO Bionicle: Quest for the Toa for the Game Boy Advance (GBA), which was also made by Saffire. The game was cancelled after new management was brought in at the LEGO company, who opted instead to work with Argonaur Games to create BIONICLE: The Game, which released not only on the PC and GameCube, but also on the PlayStation 2 (PS2) and Xbox.
