Limited Run Games Sells 25K Switch Physical Copies Of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game In Just 3 Hours
Earlier this week, Limited Run Games (LRG) officially opened pre-orders for multiple physical versions of the legendary Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch. Given the game’s history of being lost media on the PlayStation 3, it was always projected to be a popular candidate for a physical release these days – and it looks like the sales figures are reflecting that!
In a recent update on the game’s sales figures, the publisher’s co-founder Douglas Bogart revealed that 25,000 copies of Switch physical editions had already moved within just 3 hours of pre-orders going live! As per Bogart’s own words, this makes it the company’s “biggest release” of all time – likely implying that it is outpacing all of LRG’s previous Switch physical releases.
In less than 3 hours we sold 25,000 copies of Scott Pilgrim on Switch!
Thank you so much for your support in making this our biggest release of all time! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ pic.twitter.com/xtdFrxTeVf

With pre-orders open for another 6 weeks, it looks like the sky’s the limit for how many more physical copies LRG will be selling in total. We’ll report back if we hear about those figures in the future.
