LINE: Monster Rancher Announced for Mobile Devices In Japan

Folks in Japan will soon get to enjoy a new Monster Rancher experience on the go!

LINE and Koei Tecmo have announced LINE: Monster Rancher, a new Monster Rancher game for mobile devices that will be launching sometime in 2022. This new title will feature monsters from Monster Rancher and Monster Rancher 2 with updated graphics, along with entirely unique monsters as well.

Additionally, new features will allow players to send their monsters out on expeditions and create teams of monsters to participate in ranked battles. Reportedly, the iconic training system from past Monster Rancher games will be making its return as well.

At the time of writing, there’s not word of a western release for this new game. We’ll report back if that ever changes in the future.
