Lots Of Famous Game Developers Are Gathering At Games Maya’s Closing Party
Last month, we reported on the closure of popular independent Japanese game store Games Maya, which is scheduled to shut down in the next few days.
Games Maya, which has frequently held meetups for fans to meet the people who made their favorite games, will be hosting a final gathering featuring some of the four most prominent figures in the video game industry.
Some of the people attending the final gathering are Shinya Arino (Yoiko), the person behind the immensely popular GameCenter CX variety show, Capcom’s Ryōzō Tsujimoto, who is in charge of the Monster Hunter franchise, SEGA’s Toshihiro Nagoshi, known for his work on the Yakuza games, and finally Level-5 CEO and President Akihiro Hino.
