Malaysian Politician Plays Pokemon GO On The Campaign Trail

Lim Kit Siang, one of the leaders of Malaysia’s Democratic Action Party and the Pakatan Harapan coalition, is an avid Pokemon GO trainer even in his late 70s.

The politican recently shared a photo of himself posing with the Legendary Pokemon Deoxys in Pokemon GO to take a break from campaigning for his party’s candidate for the Cameron Highlands by-election. The photo received many likes on his Facebook page:

“Taking a break from the hectic Cameron Highlands campaign schedule, here I am, with Deoxys in Penang”

This isn’t the first time a high profile politician has been caught playing Pokemon GO, but probably one of the first instances we’ve seen them posing with a Pokemon in the game.
