Mario Kart World Datamine Reveals Currently Non-Playable Drivers
Earlier this month, an exploit for the Switch 2 was discovered, allowing Switch 2 exclusive games such as Mario Kart World to be datamined for the first time.
Since then dataminers have discovered references to nine drivers who are currently not playable in the game. The discovery was shared by YouTuber Rimea and credited mondomega on BlueSky. Most of them are other Mario enemies or items.
Amazingly, MondoMega has found 8 additional potential scrapped drivers in a file that relates to the character weight stats: Twomp, Blooper, Ninji, Goomba “twins” (presumably Goomba Tower), Chain Chomp, Fuzzy, “Bird” and “Banana”. https://t.co/ypXNUylm0J

Presumably, these drivers were either cut during the development, or planned to be released via DLC somewhere down the line. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
