Following the leaked packaging, the co-developer behind Mario & Luigi Brothership has seemingly been uncovered.

As determined from the game’s trademark info, the game was co-developed by none other than Acquire, the developers behind Octopath Traveler. Acquire was purchased by Kadokawa Corporation earlier this year, joining its lineup of gaming subsidiaries that includes Fromsoftware and Spike Chunsoft.
