Nintendo has confirmed that Mario Strikers: Battle League will be receiving free updates after its launch on June 10th.
This news comes via the game’s official Twitter account, which states that there will be free post-launch updates coming to the game, including new characters. Presumably, this will be similar to the support given to other Mario sports titles on Switch such as Mario Tennis Aces and Mario Golf: Super Rush.
At the time of this writing, further details about the updates have yet to be announced, although we can probably assume that it will include notable Mario Sports mainstays that are mysteriously absent from the base roster. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
