Mario Tennis Aces is doing well in Japan with 75% of their initial shipment or 123,183 copies sold in its first week. This places it at the top of the gaming charts in Japan for the week.
The game also did comparatively well against its predecessors, doubling New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis for Wii’s first week at 57,000 and almost hitting Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash’s lifetime units of 156,000 units.
