Masahiro Sakurai, creator of Kirby and Super Smash Bros., has commented on Kirby’s 28th anniversary.

The creator posted the following picture and message on Twitter (translated by NintendoSoup):

カービィが28周年ですと。二作目でコピー能力、その次にコピー帽子を入れてしまったばかりに、今も実装には苦労します…
新ファイターが参戦する度に作らなければなりませんからね。
